With the help of St Bonaventures Primary School, we are very excited to be able to return to the streets of Bishopston for the ninth time on the 4th-6th March 2023 6pm- 9pm ( although you can always leave your displays up for a bit longer ).
To take part as a Window Maker
The very first thing to do is click “take part in the event” the orange button at the top, this will lead you through to get your window pinned on the map!
Then, throw those curtains wide once again and spread the Wanderland love to help make it another huge success. As always we can’t wait to see what you do !
Taking part is great fun and anyone can do it . As usual, what you create is up to you, from simple to spectacular, anything goes and you may already have an idea up your sleeve. You can use tried and tested black card silhouettes, video, pets or even yourself to make a display. Whatever you do it will be seen and appreciated by those who wrap up warm for an interesting evening wander. Anything goes… as long as it’s family friendly!
- Click on ‘Take part in this event’ to add your location to our map.
- You’ll get a ‘Welcome Pack’ when you sign in and access to lots of inspiration for windows too
- Tell your friends and neighbours and ask them to get involved! Use your Street What’s App groups and Next Door to spread the word too.
St Bons will be throwing the school gates open on Egerton Road on the Saturday, and we would love for you to come and see our children’s windows, have a hot chocolate and enjoy some entertainment as you make your way round the streets of Bishopston.
We always welcome volunteers to support/shadow us to ensure Window Wanderland continues to be a wonderful community event!
You could help with marketing, social media, sponsorship, schools, approving homes when they sign up, press or community/ trader liaison. Many hands make light work and you get hands on experience of organising a local event.!
We are a GREAT project to be part of so email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
