It’s time to banish the winter darkness and light up the streets around Chandos Road again. Join us for a heartwarming weekend of community fun by decorating and lighting up the windows of your home, business, nursery, car or campervan, or perhaps create dazzling twinkling displays in your garden.
Taking part is FREE . Everyone is welcome to get involved. The more the merrier! Imagine how lovely it would look to have whole streets lit up with twinkling lights. Please don’t be intimidated – simple or spectacular, anything goes, as long as it’s family-friendly! Your display can be as simple as fairy lights, pictures, toys or plants in your windows… Or be wildly creative with digital projections, ‘stained glass’ windows……..Or adventurous – stage a performance in your front room, create a mini-disco, host a teddy bears picnic………
Signing up is important. It’s not compulsory – but gets the location of your display on the map so it doesn’t get missed. You can sign up on this page right up until the day of the event.
If you are just outside the area and would like to join in, that’s fine too!

On our Window Wanderland weekend, wrap up warm and wander round the Chandos Neighbourhood to admire the lovely displays. Come on your own or with friends and family. Perhaps stop for refreshments from our local shops, pubs or restaurants.
