We spotted Meg and Mog, Esio Trot, The Stick Man, Where’s Wally, several Mr Men, quite a few Wild Things and a bunch of Moomins amongst lots of other fabulous creations!

One Month to Go 😉

Still lots of time to sign up (it’s free!) by clicking on the ‘TAKE PART’ button, turn to your bookshelf or visit the library for ideas and plot and plan your window design.

Get the kids involved, or grab some colourful tissue paper and be a kid again.. we all know making and creating is good for us – well here’s an excellent excuse!

Welcome to the 2024 Window Wanderland in our beautiful neighbourhood!

We’ll kick off on LEAP day – 29th February and run until Sunday night 3rd March.

THANK YOU to all who voted for our theme which for 2024 is…

… drum roll…

………..  ***   B    O   O    K    S  *** ……..

There is no end to what you might create:

• a quote from your favourite author
• recreation of a front cover in tissue paper
• a cut out in cardboard silouette of your favourite character
• a pile of your best ever books covered in fairy lights
• a window dressed as a scene from a book

As Dr Suess said:

“‘You can find MAGIC wherever you look. Sit back, relax – all you need is a  BOOK!”

And what could be better than getting the whole family ready for World Book Day?

..enjoy the process

… maybe even re-read that book along the way!
