Here we go again!

Even in these difficult times, Window Wanderland can still bring us joy – it’s the perfect neighbourhood festival to take part in – no worries about being in a crowd  – and of course it’s completely FREE.

Wild Norwood 2020 is a celebration of nature in an inner London borough.

Between Saturday 28 November and Saturday 12 December a *Window Wanderland community festival and a wide range of free events and activities for all ages, will bring the great big outdoors to life, even in winter (and lockdown).

If you live in Norwood, South London, you can take part by making your own window displays and registering them on the festival map. And, the events and activities programme, much of which can be enjoyed wherever you live, is here: www.norwoodforum.org/day-day-programme

In this our second year, we are going to continue with our WILD theme and if you are going to make a window display, this is your chance to let your imagination really go WILD. Our community window and public displays will be giving our peregrine falcon family a rest after last year, and we will be regrowing the Great North Wood instead – one tree at a time. Billow down Norwood Road following the trail of leaves to discover the Great North Wood has regrown in the windows on West Norwood Picturehouse.

So get your thinking hats on for your own designs – we look forward to hunting out your WILD designs.

Wild Norwood – it will be right outside your door.
