Chandos Neighbourhood Window Wanderland

Window Wanderland is back in Chandos neighbourhood again!

We’ll be lighting up the streets around our area and would love as many as possible to take part with displays in the windows or garden of your flat, house, garden, business, school, car, campervan or shop. Imagine how lovely it would be if every house in your street had lights in the windows or garden. So please join in and encourage your neighbours too!

Taking part is FREE and everyone is welcome! If you are just outside the area, that’s fine with us – the more, the merrier! Sign up on this page – you can do this right up until the day of the event.

It’s simple to take part. A ‘display’ can be as simple as a candle, toys, fairy lights or image in a window. Or be adventurous and let your imagination run wild!  Stage a performance in your front room, project lights onto your building. Simple or spectacular….it’s completely up to you. Anything goes…..so long as it’s family friendly.

Or be inspired by nature, animals, space exploration, St David’s Day, Chinese New Year, the World Cup, the Winter Olympics, your favourite cartoon, the Commonwealth games……….. Most importantly, please don’t be intimidated – simple can be really effective. Just join in! Light up your windows, spread some winter cheer, and enjoy being part of our fun community event. You’ll regret it if you don’t!

On our Window Wanderland weekend, wrap up warm and wander round the Chandos neighbourhood to see and admire the lovely displays in our area. Come on your own or with family and friends. Perhaps stop for refreshments from our local shop, pubs or very varied eateries.
