Making creative things happen in Moray!

Findhorn Bay Arts invites households, families, businesses, and schools to create their very own window-based artworks and be part of Forres’ first Window Wanderland on Friday 12, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 February around the theme of Love is…!

What does love mean to you – fun family moments, friendship, being part of your local community, supporting someone in need, your beloved pets, what you love about living in Forres, or it could be caring for the environment, a plant or garden, the Moray coast or the nature that is around you.

Taking part is FREE and everyone of all ages are welcome to participate. You can use the windows of your flat, house, business, school, nursery, car, camper van, shop. It doesn’t even have to be windows, you can also use your front door, the front of your house, your front garden. You don’t need to be artistic to be part of Window Wanderland … simple or spectacular… anything goes… as long as it’s family-friendly.

Spread the word and encourage your neighbours to get involved too – and create an illuminated window artwork trail in your street or neighbourhood! You can do this by sharing our event on social media or sharing our flyers in your neighbourhood or workplace.

Watch this short film to get the idea:

We also have a small budget to supply materials to schools or families who may otherwise not be able to take part. Please get in touch with us through our event page.

Here is your handy crafty video demonstration to give you the tips and tricks you need to make your window display based on the theme LOVE IS…

Once you register as a window-maker for Window Wanderland Forres, you will be pinned onto the map with all the other community members taking part. You will then be part of an illuminated window art trail in Forres!

Window Wanderland Forres is supported by the Highland & Moray FLAG European and Maritime Fisheries Fund Programme and Scottish Government, Creative Scotland, Berry Burn Community Fund and The Budge Foundation.
