Welcome to Frome Window Wanderland
We are delighted to be bringing Window Wanderland back to the streets of Frome again!
Frome Window Wanderland has been a beloved annual event since 2018. It’s a wonderful opportunity to unleash your creativity, engage with your community, and celebrate the fun and artistry we all have to offer. Together, we can turn the streets of Frome into an outdoor gallery for everyone to enjoy!
What is a Window Wanderland?
Window Wanderlands have been held around the world, here are some links if you want to know more…

Fancy taking part?
Taking part as a window maker is FREE, and everyone’s welcome. You can make a display in the windows of your flat, house, business, school, nursery, shop – or even your car!
Don’t worry, there’s no need to feel overwhelmed. Your setup can be as easy as placing a candle, a book, or some fairy lights in your window. Alternatively, you could get really creative and put on a show in your living room! The possibilities are endless, as long as it’s family friendly.
What to do next:
-
Click on ‘Take part in this event’ to add your location to our map.
-
You’ll get a ‘Welcome Pack’ when you sign in and access to lots of inspiration for windows too.
-
Tell your friends and neighbours and ask them to get involved!
If you have any questions or would like to sponsor, promote or volunteer to help with this event, please contact us through Contact Event Organiser (the orange button) or email fromewindowwanderland@gmail.com
Theme
This year we have decided to make our theme ‘Stories’. You do not have to follow this theme but if it sparks an idea please run with it. ‘Stories’ is deliberately a broad term and we’d love to see anything connected with it – be it books, films, folktales or your own personal story. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Calling All Windows
Do you have a large, easily visible window near the centre of Frome but you don’t have the capacity to make a display? Or do you long to make a window but your house is hidden away, outside of Frome, or you just don’t think people will come out your way? This year we’d love to link up empty window owners with keen window makers! Perhaps you have a business in the centre of town that is crying out for a beautiful window, we will find the right maker for you. Get in touch.
Workshops
Feeling inspired but not sure where to start? We will be running FREE workshops from January, so keep an eye on this page for announcements of dates and times.
Please also keep an eye on our social media to be kept in the loop:
