Horncastle 2022

Welcome to Horncastle Window Wanderland

After the huge success of last year we are delighted to be back for 2022!

Window Wanderlands have been held right around the world, but Horncastle was the first town in Lincolnshire to take part. Over 100 homes, shops and groups took part in 2021, and we can’t wait to see what you come up with this year.

Help us transform the town’s streets into a magical outdoor gallery for everyone to enjoy. 

Fancy taking part?

Taking part as a Windowmaker is FREE, and everyone is welcome. You can make a display in the windows of your flat, house, business, school, shop – or even your front garden!

Please don’t feel intimidated. Your display could be as simple as a candle, book or fairy-lights in a window. Or you could go all out and stage a performance in your front room, decorate a whole bay window, or project a design outside. Anything goes… as long as it’s family-friendly!

What to do next:

• Click on ‘Take part in this event’ to add your location to our map.
• You’ll get a ‘Welcome Pack’ when you sign in and access to lots of inspiration for windows too.
• Tell your friends and neighbours and ask them to get involved too!

Need craft supplies? Perkins Newsagents in the Market Place and Horncastle Hobby House on North Street both have stock of coloured tissue and tracing paper perfect for decorating your window. Why not pay them a visit and support our local businesses?

Deadline for printed maps

If you want to get onto our printed map, please sign up by Wednesday 30th November — but you can still sign up to be on the online map after this date.

Dates: The event will run for four nights from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th December 2022.

Window times: 5:30-9pm.
