Horncastle Window Wanderland is back for our 5th festival in 2025!

Can you help us turn Horncastle’s historic streets into a colourful outdoor gallery?

Window Wanderlands have been held right around the world, but Horncastle was the first town in Lincolnshire to take part back in 2021.

Now a favourite part of the town’s festive calendar the event sees the community coming together to get creative. With local shops, groups, and homes all taking part by decorating their windows. We can’t wait to see what you come up with this year!

Fancy signing up?

Taking part is FREE, and everyone is welcome. You can make a display in the windows of your flat, house, business, school, shop – or even your front garden!

Please don’t feel intimidated. Your display could be as simple as a candle, book or fairy-lights in a window. Or you could go all out and stage a performance in your front room, decorate a whole bay window, or project a design outside. Anything goes… as long as it’s family-friendly!

We’ll send you a ‘Welcome Pack’ with more information and examples to help you get inspired.

Make sure you tell your friends and neighbours you’re taking part and ask them to get involved, the more the merrier!

Need craft supplies? Perkins Newsagents in the Market Place and Horncastle Hobby House on North Street, and Fletcher & Hughes on the Bull Ring all have stock of coloured tissue paper and tracing paper perfect for decorating your window.
