Window Wanderland – A Remembrance Walking Trail to Light Up Long Melford

Last year we held our first, very successful Window Wanderland Light Up for Remembrance event and this year we want to make it even bigger with more homes and businesses taking part. 2021 is also the 100th anniversary of the Royal British Legion, so what better year to take part and show our respects for those who have given so much. Please join us.

What is it?
Window Wanderland started in Bristol in 2015 where residents and businesses alike, just like you, made a display from their window forming a walking trail for a Winters evening. You can do whatever you want within the Remembrance theme, from a simple poppy, candle or a dove in the window or a cut out silhouette. From simple to spectacular- it’s completely up to you as anything goes if it’s within the Remembrance theme and is respectful. It must be possible to light up your window from 5.30pm – 8.30pm on Thursday 11th – Sunday 14th November.
It’s easy to do, you can take part by either making a display or simply by coming out on the trail on one of the nights and see your neighbours in a new light.
It’s great fun to participate in, it’s free and open to EVERYONE.

You can drop us an email to register your interest and we can send you a pack with more info on how it works or you can sign up and add your address to the Long Melford map here.
