We are back for 2024!
The fifth annual Mount Florida Window Wanderland (where did that time go?!) is happening this weekend, 2-4 March, rounding of a mini ‘Southside festival’ of windows. Following Cathcart (16 Feb), Strathbungo and Battlefield (24 Feb) we are closing the 2024 season!
Join up to bid a colourful farewell to winter! Following a vote on our Facebook page, the chosen theme is ‘FILM & TV’. This is a suggestion for inspiration only, you’re welcome to do anything that tickles your fancy! Remember that it doesn’t need to be a fully fledged art installation – a few fairy lights, candles, a coloured lantern, anything that brightens a gloomy winter evening.
Materials packs are available to collect from 96 Mount Annan Drive, and a selection of local cafes and businesses. See www.faceboook.com/moflowindowwanderland for the most current locations. Follow us to keep up to date with news and tips. If you need particular colours, drop an email to moflowindowwanderland@gmail.com and we will do our best to help out.
A small number of printed maps will be available from local cafes (Florida Cafe, Three of Cups, Govies Coffee House) and businesses (Sunshine No.1, The Good Choice) from Saturday morning. Closing date for being on the printed map is Friday 1 March, 9am (registrations after that time will be still included on the interactive online / downloadable maps). To help with sustainability, we encourage you to download the map to a device and Wander that way.
