Oban 2025

The Oban Winter Festival Window Wanderland is an event for EVERYONE…. all ages and all abilities, and it is COMPLETELY FREE to join in!   

If you live in Oban we would love you to join in the fun and dress up & decorate your window, or multiple windows  from Monday  17th – Thursday 20th of November.

The 2025 theme is “Up, Up & Away!” So let your imagination take flight, not even the sky is the limit for this years theme!  

This community-based event is all about fun and community.  Whether you want to decorate on your own, or collaborate with a neighbour, the entire building or involve a whole street – it is entirely up to you!   If you have a favourite book or film, or flying creature, up and away with Santa and his Reindeers or shooting off into space why not take inspiaration from what you love!….   Create your design, out of tissue paper, cardboard, make silhouettes or draw with chalk paint pens… it’s really up to you.

We’ll be sharing some ideas & inspiration on our social channels to help you design your own window display or collaborate with others to create your window displays.   Follow our Facebook page for up to date details.

Between Monday 17th to Thursday 20th of November simply pop a lamp directed at  your window display, or switch your room lights on to bring your display to life, for everyone to discover & enjoy between 6pm  & 9pm. 

Using the interactive map of registered windows you too can explore our little town  and enjoy this unique experience!
