Paisley Halloween Festival – Window Wanderland 2021
Join us on a magical walking trail to light up our homes!
This year we invite you to join in Paisley’s Halloween festivities by decorating and lighting up your windows.
Window Wanderland is a Covid-safe way to connect people, transforming streets into magical outdoor galleries.
We invite you to join us and become Windowmakers from 21st Oct – 2nd Nov. Taking part is FREE and everyone is welcome.
How to become a Windowmaker:

- Create an account to take part.
- You will then receive a welcome pack by email with tips, inspiration and further details (please check your spam folder if you don’t see it in your inbox)
- My neighbour wants to take part but doesn’t have access to a computer – please contact us and we can sign them up manually.
The theme for Paisley Halloween Festival this year is Out of This World. You can create your own otherworldly experience home with an alien invasion, creatures from the deep or a constellation of stars.
You can do whatever you want, from lights in the window, a cut out silhouette, simple to spectacular it’s up to you!
We encourage you to use recyclable and repurposed materials. You could also consider your hopes and dreams for the future of our planet in your designs.
Here are some eco friendly ways to enjoy Halloween from our partners Zero Waste Scotland and Love Food Hate Waste.
If you already decorate your window, then why not join in with this! We are asking members of the public to find ways to decorate their window at a low or no cost. We would love people to go on an evening trail with a map to see the neighbourhood in a whole new light. This is a fun community event that everyone can join in with.
