Talaton is a village and a civil parish in the English county of Devon. It lies approximately 6 miles to the west of Honiton, 3 miles to the north of Ottery St Mary, 2 miles to the west of Feniton and 2 miles to the east of Whimple. The parish of Talaton covers an area of 965 hectares.

Welcome to Talaton’s Window Wanderland 2021
The village of Talaton is delighted to bring this fantastic event to our community. With your help, we are transforming our village into a magical outdoor gallery each evening, for all the community to enjoy.
We’re creating a fun, friendly, Covid-safe event this winter, and we need you to help us make it happen!

How do I sign up?
It’s easy!
- . Click on ‘Take Part in This Event’ at the top of this page to add your location to our map. When you register you’ll get a welcome pack and access to lots of inspiration for fun window ideas, here are a few to whet your whistle Windows from around the world.
- Create your window in time for the start of the event, and make sure it’s lit up every evening until the end date: 5:30pm-8:30pm each evening between the 3rd and 24th December. Have fun with your display – anything goes!
- Ask your friends and neighbours to get involved! We need as many people taking part as possible – the more displays we have, the more magical Talaton will become!
Don’t forget to join the buzz on social media! Post pictures of your labours on the village’s Facebook page Talaton Talk to keep up to date with the latest news, see other local displays and share your photos with the hashtag #WindowWanderland
If I don’t want to decorate a window, can I still join in?
Yes! This event is for everyone to enjoy! If you can’t or don’t want to make a display you can download the free Window Map at the top of this page, wrap up warm and take a magical evening walk around Talaton’s Window Wanderland between the 3rd and 24th December. We recommend that you wait until the last minute to download the map so that all the window makers have time to register – you don’t want to miss any!
