Join us to celebrate our centuries-old relationship with our river. Drift around your neighbourhood on our community-created river-themed arts trail.
Highlights will include:
– Front gardens and windows decorated by residents with river-inspired arts;
– Local schoolchildren’s upcycled artwork at Osney Lock Hydro;
– The chance to make something yourself at our stall at the river-themed West Oxford Fun Day;
– Street art on the grafitti board outside the community centre…

This event is part of Low Carbon West Oxford and Osney Lock Hydro’s year-long Heritage Lottery-funded project, to celebrate the power of our river. The project explores the links between the local history of energy generation is West Oxford and the local and global environment.
