Welcome to Frome Window Wanderland

We are the new team (Katie, Susie & Tori) organising the 2024 event and we are delighted to be bringing this fantastic festival back to Frome.  With your help, we will transform the streets into a magical outdoor gallery for all to enjoy!

Fancy taking part?

Taking part as a Windowmaker is FREE, and everyone’s welcome. You can make a display in the windows of your flat, house, business, school, nursery, car, campervan, shop – or your front garden!

Please don’t feel intimidated. Your display could be as simple as a candle, book or fairy-lights in a window. Or you could go all out and stage a performance in your front room!  Anything goes… as long as it’s family-friendly!

What to do next:

• Click on ‘Take part in this event’ to add your location to our map.
• You’ll get a ‘Welcome Pack’ when you sign in and access to lots of inspiration for windows too.
• Tell your friends and neighbours and ask them to get involved!

Workshops

We are offering a number of free workshops to help you create your windows.  Suitable for everyone, our experienced instructors will guide you through the process, providing tips and inspiration along the way:

• Tuesday 13th Feb, 2-4pm FAMILY FRIENDLY WORKSHOP at Frome Library
• Thursday 15th Feb 6-9pm MAKE:SHED WORKSHOP (adults only) at The Welsh Mill Hub
• Saturday 17th Feb 1-3pm OPEN TO ALL WORKSHOP at Frome Library
• Wednesday 21st Feb 10am – 12pm WORKSHOP FOR ADULTS at Frome Town Hall
• Thursday 22nd Feb 6-9pm MAKE:SHED WORKSHOP (adults only) at The Welsh Mill Hub
• Sunday 25th Feb 10am – 12pm OPEN TO ALL WORKSHOP at Black Swan Arts
• Sunday 3rd March 10am – 3pm FUN WINDOW MAKING at The Frome Independent
