St Werburghs Window Wanderland 2026

Back again for our third consecutive year!

Dive into the magic of Window Wonderland St Werburghs as our neighbourhood transforms into an after-dark festival of light, creativity and community from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th February 2026 🌊✨ 4pm – 8pm each day! Once again, this much-loved event is being proudly planned and hosted by Friends of St Werburghs Primary, with St Werburghs Primary School also taking part and lighting up the trail with their own creations. The theme for this year is Oceans, inviting everyone to dive deep into an underwater world of colour, movement and imagination.

For one unforgettable winter weekend, families and neighbours come together to decorate their street-facing windows, turning everyday homes into a sparkling trail of imagination inspired by the wonders of the sea. Expect glowing jellyfish, swirling shoals of fish, mysterious deep-sea creatures and rolling waves of light — each window a tiny ocean world waiting to be discovered. Creating your window is all part of the fun and a brilliant, hands-on activity to enjoy with children: cutting, crafting, painting, lighting and dreaming together as ideas come to life. Best of all, you can find everything you need to get creative at our local Scrapstore, making it easy, affordable and sustainable to take part.

Getting involved is simple — households can register their windows on the interactive St Werburghs map, helping to build a magical window trail, while visitors can use the map to see exactly where to wander and what to discover. Everyone is invited — families, friends, locals and visitors from beyond — to wrap up warm, wander the streets, gaze in delight, and soak up the joy of this free, welcoming celebration of creativity, connection and community spirit.
